Halifax Paving is proud to partner with Volusia County and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on a vital shoreline restoration effort north of Ponce de Leon Inlet. This project is part of a long-term recovery plan following the severe coastal erosion caused by Hurricanes Ian and Nicole in 2022.
Together, we are rebuilding and strengthening the coastline using more than 480,000 cubic yards of sand dredged from nearby in Ponce Inlet. This sand is being carefully placed to form a robust berm designed to protect our coast.
